Andrea’s interests and skills fall outside of typical  “leading lady” categories. She is as enthusiastic playing a suffragette as she is playing a grandpa.

Andrea has been performing in professional theatre since 2008, following the completion of a Theatre degree at the University of Winnipeg. She performs in drama, comedy, musical theatre and theatre for young audiences. 

 

Although she is known for her impeccable comedic timing and transformative character work, Andrea has received acclaim for dramatic performances in plays such as The Glass Menagerie, Kill Me Now and Timon of Athens, for which she received a Winnipeg Theatre Award nomination. As an actor and singer in musical theatre, Andrea is known for having a voice of exceptional force, range and lyrical intent. She pursues continued professional development through ongoing vocal training, dance classes, Grotowski technique, and countless hours of private coaching.
